Our Mission
Our intent is to regenerate the land and soil in order to grow healthy, nutrient dense food. Many of our modern diseases and ailments can be attributed to our diet. Depleted farmland has left our food void of vital minerals and nutrients; propping up our food supply with synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides only worsens the problem. The rate we are currently "mining" our food supply, we believe, is proportional to the decreasing health of our society. Using regenerative and holistic management methods for our land allows us to improve the resource. By mimicking nature in the process of growing our own vegetables and animal feed, we can move closer to the point of having to add zero outside inputs into the system while simultaneously regenerating and improving it. By combining cover crops, rotational grazing, no till farming, and crop rotation, we can mimic nature and restore the quality of the soil, the quality of the food we grow, and the health of our community.
